Solid Bronze Salmon/Trout Sculpture – Signed, MCM, Nautical Cape Cod Art.
Signed Bronze with nice weight for size at 14 oz. 6″ wide, 2 3/4″ tall to top of tail fin. MCM Paperweight. Attributing to William Boogar Jr and guessing around 1948. Hard to make out writing and or date but is similar to his work and has Circle” Mark: The circle you see is often a stylized “O” or part of the Boogar foundry mark used in Provincetown, also known for “crackle” textured patina. Whoever made this made a great Bronze!
Good old condition for age and ready to display. Guessing made 1940s. Great Find! shipping for the lower 48 states only.
