Japanese Bronze Brush Washer Dish / Pin Dish.
Seen only a few of these type trays called Meiji and Taishō period, styled pieces with different metals like bronze brass white metal copper etc. First impression bronze but could be brass, metal is nonmagnetic and has very nice weight for size at 14oz.
Antique Japanese Bronze Brush Washer with Warrior and Standing Frog. fine quality antique Japanese Bronze Brush Washer is beautifully decorated with Warrior, foliage and amusing standing frog. Looks wonderful on display or would make a lovely pin tray or small dish.
Frogs are used in Japanese Folktales. 1920s would be the Taishō period.
Guessing made 1920’s. Cool old antique dressing table pin tray!
