Pair Elevator Company Call Button Plate. Attributing to Otis Elevators but do not have the Otis Name. These looks bronze or brass and nonmagnetic. Numbered what looks like 1691SW2 similar to Otis call buttons.
Plates measure 2 1/2″ wide x 8 1/4″ tall x 5/8″ deep. Nice weight at 3/4 pound each. Slightly different Patinas.
Has scratches, scuffs, stains, tarnishing verdigris, paint splatter, dings, nice Patina showing good age and still looks Awesome! What makes these unusual is the condition and a matching pair.
Has not been polished to death and all shined scuffed and fine scratched. Cool historic find worthy of a proper finish restoration or leave original as found. Found some fun info on Otis Elevators at bottom of page from the great Wikipedia.
