The Lord of the Rings 1st Print J. R. R. Tolkien Hardcover Collector’s Edition. 10″ tall 7″ wide and ” thick. Weight is 4 3/4 pound. Houghton Mifflin Company, Boston, 1974.
Book has some issues with top left front of book cover, was stuck in sleeve and when removed has piece of inner sleeve stuck to book corner and torn the piece (pictured) from inside sleeve shown in last picture, with book closed see yellowing on page ends, two small sections of pages got bumped and the little corners bent shown in pictures. Sleeve has it average wear and book pages look clean and crisp. Have not checked every page.
Looking for perfect not for you but looking for a good decent copy to read and enjoy this would fit the bill. Preowned in good readable condition and very cool looking book!!
