Very Cool Antique Art Deco Mail Slot C 1920s Nice Patina. Nonmagnetic for guessing Aluminum. Signed on back Gasser Denver. Simple mechanism, light weight with big look.
Measures 9 3/4″ x 5″ and weighs close to 1/2 pound. Old cast slot with paint splatter scratches and scuffs, mail door opens and closes fine with spring action to keep closed. Door has slight play and can slide left or right a hair and has slight space at top cause of the deco design. Has two nuts on the two bolts. Not sure how you would go and mount this to a particular door or side wall so check pictures and be handy.
Guessing made early 1920’s or later. Good condition for age and hard to find! Please check pictures for description and condition.
