Seen similar called Art Deco Bookends – Flapper Girl Bookends. Wood and metal. One has felt bottom and other dont. One metal bottom has some bending but sits good and holds books fine.
The pair has thick wood at 2″ deep at base, 6 1/2″ tall and 5″ wide. 5 1/2″ deep counting metal bottom plate. Each weighs 1 3/4 pound.
Have their finish wear to wood but dont see any damage. Hard to find bookends. Not sure of wood but heavy like a hard wood, has nice grain and stain.
Guessing made 1920s – 1940s. Cool Bookends!!!
